Since Pixar usually doesn’t announce their short films so far in advance many are probably thinking La Luna is going to be playing in front of Cars 2 this summer, but it’s not. The Cars 2 short will be Toy Story: Hawaiian Vacation.
The reason photos from La Luna have been released is most likely to do with it being screened at the currently ongoing Annecy animation festival in France, and odds are it won’t see wide release until Brave comes out summer 2012.
