» Oscar Goes Up!
Up has been nominated for five Oscars today, including Best Picture, making it the first Pixar film to be nominated for that honor! That the field of nominees for Best Picture was expanded to ten films this year helped, but an accomplishment nevertheless!
Up was also nominated for Best Animated Feature Film, Best Original Screenplay, Best Sound Editing and Best Original Score.
